Glasgow Central Station

33200 square metres of glass roof has been replaced at Scotlands largest Railway Station.
PMC Ltd provided overall project management to the Main Contractor, the package was design and construct including structural strengthening to the 180 foot span trusses of the Victorian roof structure, including installing a roof access system which complies with all current safe working regulations.
The whole of the work was carried out while the Station is in full operation, without any interference with the travelling public or railway scheduling.
